We just finished a three day Senate Republican Caucus of current elected members preparing for the next session. Some of our visitors and presenters were Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, U.S. Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn, as well as Attorney General Ken Paxton. As it was the Gov’s birthday, we presented him with a birthday cake! I look forward to doing the work of SD-3 during the next session. ... See MoreSee Less

Happy birthday Gov Abbott!! 🎂💖

Happy Birthday Sir.

Happy birthday Gov! Now let's get some gun rights in Texas, constitutional carry, stop Trumps bumpstock ban, reciprocity... You know, like the Bill of Rights!

Can someone please tell Texas citizens about the plan to stop the caravan from forcing their way across the boarder?

Immigration problems should be on your agenda. Also-Replace STAAR with rigorous curriculum and testing. This would require teaching with plans for an interesting but challenging learning environment. Grading and returning papers for correction. The STAAR test kills spirits, kills creativity, kills spontaneous teaching moments, kills the thrill for discovery learning. And is a time waster for months for the student who “gets it”. Please kill the test. Lastly clean up Texas. This should be a program to be fast tracked. Don’t Mess With Texas was a successful program for maybe twenty years. The expression is iconic. But our state is dirty and roads trashy. Reignite Don’t Mess With Texas. Make it real again.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GOV. ABBOT! NOW GO GIT EM MAKE TEXAS REMAIN GREAT & NOT NEEDING NO ONE FOR OUR STATE'S BRIGHT , PROSPEROUS FUTURE!!!

Keep up the good work. For us all.
